- Terms and Conditions
1. Unique Nature of Products
Each item sold by Beautifully Broken Sea Shells is a handcrafted, one-of-a-kind creation. By purchasing, the customer acknowledges that:
Natural materials (such as sea shells) have inherent variations in color, shape, and texture.
Minor "imperfections" are a hallmark of handmade art and do not constitute defects.
The item received will be the exact item shown in the product listing photographs, but lighting and screen settings may cause slight color variations.
2. Sales and Exclusivity
Because items are one-of-a-kind, they are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Placing an item in a shopping cart does not reserve it; a sale is only finalized once payment is processed. If two customers attempt to purchase the same unique item simultaneously, the first completed transaction will be honored.
3. Shipping and Handling
Packaging: Due to the delicate nature of sea shell art, items are packaged with extreme care to ensure safe arrival.
Carrier: We typically ship via USPS.
Insurance: Given the irreplaceable nature of these pieces, all shipments include insurance for the full value of the item.
4. Returns and Exchanges
All Sales Final: Because these pieces are one-of-a-kind and cannot be "restocked" or replaced, all sales are final.
Damages: If an item arrives damaged due to shipping, the customer must contact us within [48 hours] of delivery with photos of the damaged item and the packaging to initiate an insurance claim.
Exchanges: Exchanges are not possible as there are no duplicate items.
5. Intellectual Property
The purchase of a physical art piece does not transfer copyright to the customer. Beautifully Broken Sea Shells retains all rights to the designs, photographs, and artistic concepts. The customer may not reproduce or resell the artwork for commercial purposes without written consent.
6. Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item. We are not responsible for any damage occurring after the item is in the customer’s possession (e.g., dropping the piece or exposure to harsh environmental conditions).
